Babo

A very sweet movie ! A boy who loses his father in an accident at home, is affected by the incident and becomes mentally challenged. His mother also dies and leaves to his care his sister. She tells him , we do not have anything to leave to her but you. So love her and take care of her. This talisman becomes his sole religion in life and he works hard to collect money so that his sister might need it in the future.
His girlfriend/friends in the movie is very sweet too!

A good story where a man who is burdened by life and his confidence is crushed, has a resurrection when he begins to receive phone calls in the morning which turn out to be his own self. I like this film because the story is made for the Indian audience and is provoking. How a man's life is resurrected only to discover that all good that's been happening was his own self and was never true. This film shows courage is not revealed in miracles and himalayan fights but in weakness also. An inspiring film!

A simple story told very powerfully.A small childhood incident can linger in our minds for long and comes to affect all characters in the story.

The sexual iconography in the movie has fascinated me.The human body is beautiful and the director has tried to explore the limits of human disgust.Such a movie can alter our notion of beauty and sex...it is an exploration into aesthetics.

Werner Herzog--Aguirre

I completed this movie only the second time i tried to watch it. The first time i could not connect to it.I felt the images hauntingly beautiful. The people in the movie are in search of the hidden land of El Dorado.Herzog not only speaks through his voice and images but also his silence. The jungle shown in the movie is a landscape of the mind.
